She says: “My motivation for teaching is exchange through connection and my goal for the lessons is to succeed in inspiring the students to enter their path of meaningful and true artistic expression. Improvisation is a cornerstone of the process I follow in the classes, as I am interested in improvisation not only as a tool, but also as an educational and creative process. I believe that learning to improvise is the core element of creativity.
Our body contains all the possibilities for stage expression. Instinct and free expression are missing from today's stages and with me a student will experience things they already know by nature, instinctively. The techniques I give will be simple tools that lead to the creation of new paths. This is my vision of art, this is what I want to do and to convey.
In the lessons, I offer a theoretical basis, work on roles, practice acting techniques, warm-up exercises and work through improvisation. I also prepare for auditions for admission to drama schools and the entrance exams of the Ministry of Culture, as well as auditions for performances. Notes, bibliography and materials are provided.

Since 2014 she has been a member of the professional musical group K's Blink, under the supervision of the choreographer Dimitra Kastellou and the vocal teachers Dimitra Athanassatou and Athanasia Kyriakidou (performances at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, participation in the 5th World Musical Festival in Thessaloniki).
Since 2016, she has been teaching vocal, contemporary and modern singing, pop, rock, blues, improvisation, jazz, etc., to all ages, as well as voice and body practices based on physical theatre and dance techniques worldwide.

In the lessons are explored together with the student:

- the basics of vocal training, which concern all styles of singing and style,

- the theoretical and practical knowledge of the function of the body and its anatomy,

- mind training and concentration,

- various ways of protecting the health of the voice, and of course

- the body sounds are researched, the body resonators are used to discover new possibilities and particular ways of voicing, which give flexibility and choices of style/vocal colour.

- discussion of a healthy diet and lifestyle issues that lead to a healthy voice.

- combination of the art of singing with dance and theatre techniques-if the student is interested in an extensive and holistic performing arts training

- if you are a professional singer, who might have difficulty distinguishing between different vocal techniques (classical-modern-folk-foreign-Greek, etc.), I would like to help you find your own style.

- personal notes, bibliographical material or even research support (eg thesis, dissertation, etc.) can be provided.

Catherine says: "I consider the educational process as a result of cooperation. Therefore, I would like to create a space open to experimentation and discussion, where meaningful communication prevails, as I aim to freely express each student's thoughts and needs. Together we will develop your critical thinking so that you learn to function independently, having received a holistic knowledge of your body, which is your musical instrument. I look forward to working with you!

I really like teaching Online, as it helps me to communicate my art with people not only from all parts of Greece but also from all over the world. I am fully equipped with all the right electronic components to make my classes feel like a face-to-face teaching experience. There is the possibility of using two cameras to visualize from two different angles to present the appropriate body posture for vocalisation and theatre. I also use mirrors, books, and boards to write about music theory if this is desired by the student, and of course my piano, microphones and amplifiers. I like to shape the conditions so that the students feel that I am there, close to them, as if the lesson is taking place in a natural place!”
